S197 Mustang Steering Rack Spacer (2005-2014)

Sale Price: $25.00 Original Price: $35.00

If you’re trying to squeeze a little more steering angle out of your S197 Mustang without spending a ton of money or making your front end really twitchy as an expensive angle kit would, this rack spacer is the way to do it. Designed and tested on real drift cars, the ZPM Motorsports S197 Steering Rack Spacer increases rack travel to give you up to 10 degrees of usable steering angle, smoother transitions, and better front-end control when drifting. Great upgrade without breaking the bank.

If you have the later coyote s197 then you need the earlier 3 valve s197 tie rod because there is less thread length on the coyote tie rod and it may pull out of the steering rack. Ask me how I found that one out. With the early s197 tie rod, you wont have any issues.

Use Loctite or some other thread locker on the inner tie rod connecting to the rack

Installation is straightforward with basic tools.

Installation time is 30 minutes or less

Disclaimer:
For off-road and motorsport use only. Always verify fitment and alignment before driving. ZPM Motorsports is not responsible for damage, injury, or failure caused by improper installation or use. Professional installation is recommended.
